Vita - David Goltz
David Goltz wurde 1971 in Celle, Deutschland, geboren und lebt und arbeitet in Hamburg und Berlin. Er studierte Kunst und Fotografie an der Minerva Art Academy in Groningen, Niederlande. Seine fotografische Arbeit bewegt sich zwischen Fine Art Fotografie, redaktioneller Fotografie und Advertising Photography.
Seine Bildsprache ist geprägt von einem dokumentarischen Ansatz und einer reduzierten visuellen Haltung. Im Mittelpunkt stehen soziale Räume, menschliche Präsenz und stille Momente des Übergangs. Die fotografischen Arbeiten entstehen aus genauer Beobachtung und beschäftigen sich mit dem Verhältnis von Mensch, Raum und gesellschaftlicher Wirklichkeit.
Fotografische Praxis und internationale Projekte
David Goltz arbeitet international als Fotograf für Magazine, Unternehmen, Agenturen, Institutionen und kulturelle Auftraggeber. Seine Projekte entstehen in unterschiedlichen kulturellen und geografischen Kontexten und verbinden künstlerische, redaktionelle und kommerzielle Bildpraxis.

David Goltz was born in 1971 in Celle, Germany, and lives and works in Hamburg and Berlin. He studied art and photography at the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen, Netherlands. His photographic work moves between fine art photography, editorial photography, and advertising photography.
His visual language is shaped by a documentary approach and a reduced visual aesthetic. At the centre of his work are social spaces, human presence, and quiet moments of transition. The photographic works emerge through close observation and explore the relationship between people, space, and social reality.
